Mr. William Ayambire, Northern Regional Director of the Ghana Tourist Board has called on musicians to promote Ghana's tourism sector by including various interesting sites in their musical videos.

Mr. Ayambire said the tourist board alone could not perform the task but needed the assistance of people like musicians and urged them to see it as part of their social responsibility.

Mr. Ayambire made the call on Friday at the pre-lunching of Lord Wumpini, a local musician's latest album titled; "Second chance" in Tamale; saying "not only would you be selling tourism in Ghana, you would equally be selling your own profession as people would buy your video clips in order to see interesting sites"

Dr. Suley Gariba, Director of the Institute of Policy Alternatives said his outfit was proud to be associated with the musician's handiwork because it had a unique blend of northern culture.

He gave the assurance that the Institute was ever ready to assist and coming young artists in the region who produced works that would promote the region.
