Zoomlion Ghana Limited, a private waste management company is gearing up to provide effective waste management services to all political parties during their rallies in the run up to the 2008 elections.

Mrs. Isabella Gyau Orhin, Communications Director
of the Zoomlion told the GNA that the company had drawn up a special programme for all political parties toward election 2008.

She said so far the company had offered such services to the Convention People's Party (CPP) and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), during their respective national delegates congresses.

"We are looking forward to providing our services to all the political parties during political rallies and other political party gathering in the election year," she said.

Mrs. Gyau Orhin noted that it was important that the country was kept clean during the electioneering campaign period when a lot of waste would be generated, especially during political rallies and other such gatherings.

"Several other companies are benefiting from the political season and the sanitation should not be left out," she said.

She said through the use of simple and affordable, but effective technology, Zoomlion would also be offering sanitation services at football matches, funerals, beach parties and other social and mass gatherings.
