The GRNA was formed in March 1960 with a mission to provide a central organization that would advance the interest of the nursing profession in Ghana and worldwide. It is a professional association, which is independent and nonpartisan in nature. The GRNA is the exclusive mouthpiece for all nurses in matters that affect them.
